Today the visual art takes more and more part in live musical performances. It is particularly very used at major events such as festivals or concerts. It grows and becomes more and more democratic.
What are the tools, the applications and the demonstrations which allow the visual art to express itself to the general public?

Aujourd’hui l’art visuel accompagne de plus en plus les performances musicales live. Il est notamment très exploité lors d’événements majeurs tels que festivals ou concerts. Il se développe et se démocratise de plus en plus.

Musik-Performances werden live immer öfter von visuel ler Kunst wie Bild- und Videoanimationen begleitet. Insbesondere bei grossen Veranstaltungen wie Festivals oder Konzerten ist diese Kombination stark verbreitet und entwickelt sich kontinuierlich weiter.
Welches sind die Werkzeuge, anwendungen und Veranstaltungen, die es der visuellen Kunst erlauben, sich gegenüber einem brei- ten Publikum zu präsentieren und auszudrücken?
Mit der teilnahme von Künstlern und Szenekennern will die Vereinigung swisselectronicmusic in dieses universum eintauchen und bietet einen Einblick in ihre aktivitäten.

Le Mapping Festival consacre 10 jours au VJing : mix d'images en direct. En lien avec les cultures contemporaines, le festival propose de découvrir le VJing sous ses différentes facettes à travers des workshops, concerts, spectacles vivants, expositions, installations, performances audiovisuelles, projections extérieures et conférences. Véritable laboratoire de la discipline, le Mapping Festival investit chaque année différents lieux de la ville de Genève (Bâtiment d'art contemporain, théâtres, l'Usine, cinémas...).

Jean-Pierre Kazemi : Light & Video Designer (Public Image), Geneva
Jean-Pierre Kazemi develops applications of image and light in the areas of events, architecture, scenography, design and urbanism. He approaches each new project as the architectural language of the place in which it operates. Space is an image and the image becomes habitable, she goes out of its frame, recalls perspectives, urban landscapes, virtual backgrounds... His various techniques (projection, lighting, interactive ...) should be envisaged to create a scalable and flexible environment according to the esthetics and functionality of the place in which it operates. He pays special attention to the various materials which may serve to support the image and light, they are specially designed for this purpose or diverted from their primary use.
Jean-Pierre Kazemi développe des applications contemporaines de l’image et de la lumière dans les domaines de l’événementiel, l’architecture, la scénographie, le design et l’urbanisme. Il aborde chaque nouveau projet selon le langage architectural du lieu dans lequel il intervient. L'espace devient une image et l'image devient habitable, elle sort de son cadre, évoque des perspectives, des paysages urbains, des horizons virtuels… Ses différentes techniques (projection, éclairage, interactivité…) doivent être envisagées afin de créer un environnement évolutif et modulable selon l’esthétique et la fonctionnalité de l’endroit dans lequel il intervient. Il attache une attention toute particulière aux différents matériaux qui peuvent servir de support à l’image et la lumière, qu’ils soient spécialement conçus à cet effet ou détournés de leur usage premier.
Jean-Pierre Kazemi entwickelt Anwendungen von Bild und Licht in den Bereichen Event, Architektur, Szenografie, Design und Urbanismus. Er nähert sich jedem neuen Projekt, wie die architektonische Sprache des Ortes, in dem sie tätig ist. Die Raumfahrt ist ein Bild und das Bild wird bewohnbar, geht sie aus dem Rahmen, erinnert sich Perspektiven, urbane Landschaften, virtuale Hintergründe ... Die verschiedenen Techniken (Projektion, Beleuchtung, Interaktivität ...) in Betracht gezogen werden, um ein Umfeld zu schaffen skalierbar und flexibel entsprechend der Ästhetik und Funktionalität des Ortes, in dem sie tätig ist.
